What Is the Dolphin Card?

The Dolphin Card is a privacy-preserving, reloadable Visa® card that lets you spend your Bitcoin directly from AQUA. It works both online and in person—anywhere Visa® is accepted, including retail stores, restaurants, and e-commerce sites.

You fund the card using BTC or LBTC in your AQUA wallet. The amount is converted into USD and added to your card balance, ready to spend immediately. There’s no need for a bank account, and the process is designed to be privacy preserving from the start.

Once you’ve added funds, the Dolphin Card works just like any other Visa® card. You can use it for one-time purchases or set it as a default payment method for recurring charges like subscriptions and delivery apps.

You’ll be able to track your spending and view card details directly from AQUA. USDT top-ups will be supported in the future, but at launch, only BTC and LBTC will be available.

The Dolphin Card is now live in version 0.3.0 on Google Play and the Apple App Store for beta testers who were previously whitelisted. We’ll soon add another group of testers before launching the card to the public.
