AQUA only supports paying for invoices where the receiving party has set an amount for the transaction. This means you will not be able to manually enter any amount, and thus not be able to send Bitcoin, if the other person has left that field blank.
Our team of developers is working on getting rid of this limitation in order to allow for the user who is sending funds via Lightning to input any number on an outgoing payment, but this functionality is not available for the time being.
When receiving Bitcoin through Lightning on your AQUA wallet, you will be able to enter the amount you wish to invoice the other party for without any limitations.
